1. Possibility of a fraudulent situation
The fraudulent situation starts on discount and bazaar portals, where a interested buyer (customer) writes to sellers with an interest in the goods. The interested buyer (customer) replies along the following lines: "I will arrange a pick-up via a PPL courier, who will also send the money and you (seller) only need to confirm receipt of the money" and then sends a link to a fraudulent PPL website that links to the receipt of payment. In the form they ask for e.g. your date of birth, login to your bank and then share your credit card number. You will never encounter this practice at PPL CZ s.r.o.
2. Possibility of a fraudulent situation
Vendors share fraudulent PPL websites which copy the PPL website quite faithfully. These websites have nothing to do with PPL CZ s.r.o. and therefore we ask you to take extra care when searching for our services on the Internet.
Example of the fradulent site:
There is no PPL service at this address and it is a scam!
How to avoid danger:
• Be attentive - Details play a major role. PPL never asks you for money upfront, only when you pay cash on delivery in person.
• Don't share sensitive information - Never provide login details or other sensitive information to third parties that have not been vetted.
• Avoid suspicious emails or texts - Do not open and delete these emails immediately. They may contain a virus.
• Verify the URL - The URL is clearly described on our site and is always included (ppl.cz)
In e-mail or SMS communication we DO NOT SEND:
• We do not request our recipients to pay any amount before the actual delivery of parcel. The recipient pays only the COD amount and only with our PPL driver.
• We do not inform you that we have redirected your shipment without your knowledge (apart from not reaching you at the address and transporting it to the nearest pick-up point) - you only set the change of disposition by yourself.
If you have any concerns or suspicion of unusual contact, contact us on our e-mail info@ppl.cz
