Send a parcel with PPL, and you’ll send twice the joy

TERIBEAR MOVES PRAGUE is a sports and charity event for all those who want to help disadvantaged children. Together with other partners and participants, TERIBEAR, the "bear hero” and main symbol of the event, will stand on the starting line of the course in Letenské sady non-stop from Monday 12 September to Sunday 18 September 2022. For every kilometre that participants run or walk on their own, the partners donate funds that will then be distributed within the ten areas in which the Tereza Maxová Foundation works for children. Every kilometre represents CZK 25 per selected story. 

This year, the leading parcel carrier , PPL CZ,  will also be present at the start, and its representatives will run together with children from two orphanages that PPL supports as a Movement Partner. At the same time, it will donate CZK 10 from every Parcel for you sent in September to the Foundation. "Family is one of the most precious gifts that we could receive in life. Unfortunately not all children are that lucky, and there is still a high number of children in the Czech Republic who have to grow up in institutional care. That's why this year we decided to get involved and spread a little joy among children who need it so much," said PPL CEO Petr Horák , adding that each Parcel for you will also make the senders happy because they will be involved in helping children, and will also make the recipients of the packages smile as they look forward to opening them. 

25 years of Tereza Maxová Foundation for Children, 27 years of PPL CZ

The charity event is returning to its original version of a community event after two years of being virtual due to the Covid-19 pandemic. "After two years when the event was held virtually due to covid restrictions, this year we will meet again in person at Letná, which we are very pleased about. We believe that this year we will also experience an amazing atmosphere on the TERIBEAR course, which has the gift of uniting the generations for a good cause, and that many people will come together.  This year we are celebrating 25 years since the foundation was founded and it will be one of the ways for us to commemorate the foundation's beginnings and celebrate a quarter of a century of helping disadvantaged children," says Terezie Sverdlinová, director of the Tereza Maxová Foundation: "We greatly appreciate the support of our partners who stand by us even in these not so easy times."
“At PPL in September, we will also celebrate the long-delayed 25th anniversary, which we call 25+2 and we are happy to accompany it with such enriching activities as our cooperation with the Tereza Maxová Foundation for Children," adds Horák.
