Dear Customers,

As a result of the current flood situation, which has affected various parts of the Czech Republic and neighbouring countries, some of our services may be limited, primarily in the region of North Moravia - primarily the area of Krnov, Opava, Ostrava and Jeseník and some neighbouring countries. For this reason, delivery of your shipments may be delayed.

Edit (30.9.2024): We are happy to inform you that the situation regarding the delivery and collection of parcels across the affected areas is improving day by day. Please see below for details.

Edit (20.9.2024): Most of the delayed parcels that could not be delivered in the standard time have already been dispatched. Those that could not be delivered because the recipients or the pick-up point or box is in an inaccessible area are stored in a secure location. We are awaiting an update on transport options.

We will do our best to deliver your parcels as soon as the situation allows. You can track the status of your shipment in the mojePPL mobile app or on the website.

We are constantly monitoring the situation and will keep you informed of further developments in due course via this article and other communication channels. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.

Situation at the depots

Edit (30.9.2024): We have already managed to restore the operation of the depot in Ostrava. As of today, all our depots are operating in standard mode without restrictions.

Edit (20.9.2024): The situation at our depot in Ostrava is getting better every day. All parcels that normally pass through the Ostrava depot are processed at the depot in Mošnov. Operations at the depot in Olomouc and Jeseník are already in standard mode. Our other depots continue to operate without restrictions. Thanks to the timely intervention of our colleagues, the packages that were at the depots at the critical time are safe. Most of them have already been delivered to their recipients.

Our depots in Ostrava and Jeseník are currently affected. The packages are fine and we are gradually transporting them to nearby depots in Mošnov and Olomouc. We are also redirecting all newly arrived parcels that we normally deliver to accessible areas. The depot in Olomouc is unrestricted for the time being, but unfortunately the situation is continuously changing. We will keep you informed. Our other depots are operating without restrictions.

Delivery by our drivers

Edit (30.9.2024): Every day, more and more locations are becoming available for our drivers to safely deliver to or pick up from.

Edit (20.9.2024): Locations that are unavailable for delivery are becoming fewer and fewer. It is still the case that our drivers go to locations where it is possible and safe to do so. Parcels that cannot be delivered because the destination address or pick-up point location is still in an inaccessible area will be delivered as soon as possible.

At the moment our drivers go to places where it is possible and safe. Shipments that cannot be delivered because the destination address or pick-up point is in an inaccessible area will be delivered as soon as possible.

PPL pick-up points and boxes

Edit (30.9.2024): Unfortunately, several pick-up points and boxes remain unavailable. They are temporarily deactivated in Pick-up Points Map, so they will not appear in your menu at the moment. Once they are restored - and we firmly believe that will be soon - we will make them available again so that you can pick up and send packages there.

Edit (20.9.2024): We have temporarily deactivated the PPL pick-up point and boxes that we know are affected by the floods and cannot deliver packages to them on the Pick-up Points Map. We are checking the situation of our partners and the availability of PPL boxes and Alzaboxes every day and updating them continuously.

We check the status of our partners' drop-off points and map the availability of our own and our partners' boxes in the affected areas.

Edit (30.9.2024): A large part of the Czech Republic is experiencing really challenging days. The floods have affected many families, companies, shops and our operations, employees, co-workers and business partners included.

Thank you for your forbearance, we are here for you.

Edit (20.9.2024): From all reports, it looks like the flood situation across the country is slowly starting to improve. However, our crisis staff remains alert and continues to monitor the situation. We will keep you updated on any changes and further developments here.

We ask for your indulgence. We are doing everything we can to ensure that the delivery goes as smoothly as possible even in these challenging conditions. Let's all keep our fingers crossed.
