Customers can progress through up to ten levels of the loyalty programme, with each higher level providing greater benefits for sending and ordering shipments. Points are earned for downloading the app, sending and receiving a shipment, rating a delivery or completing special challenges.

PPL has launched a loyalty programme in its mobile app mojePPL. "We are delighted to finally introduce our loyalty programme to our customers, and to be the first shipping company in the Czech Republic to do so. We believe that customers will enjoy collecting points and will appreciate the discounts they receive for using our services," says Stanislav Krupa, Marketing Director at PPL CZ.

Customers can use the bonus points they collect to redeem discounts of varying amounts for the Parcel for You service, i.e. sending parcels to any other individual. For now, the highest reward they can achieve is sending a parcel for CZK 1. "We believe that the gamification of our app will increase not only the interest in downloading it, but also the long-term engagement of our customers, " Krupa adds.

Points for both shipments and challenge fulfillment

Customers have several ways to earn points. Points are automatically credited for using PPL services, typically for receiving or sending a shipment. In addition, they can also earn bonus points for filling out user profile information or reading marketing notifications. The first one-off points are earned when they download the mobile app.

"We have also prepared several special challenges for our clients to earn extra points. For example, for sending or receiving a certain number of parcels with cash on delivery or for sending parcels of a certain value, always within a predetermined period," Marian Lomňančík, Digital Applications Manager at PPL CZ, introduces the news. All conditions and challenges are described in more detail in the app.

The customer as a parcel hunter or delivery conductor

Based on the number of points accumulated, mojePPL users can progress across ten levels. As the levels become more advanced, the benefits customers receive for sending and receiving parcels increase. In addition, the names of each level are tuned to shipping slang. Over time, consumers can progress to levels such as Parcel Hunter, Master of Routing, Traffic Hero, Warehouse Keeper, Delivery Conductor, Parcel Boss, and finally to Logistics Master.

What's new in the app

Users can find everything related to the loyalty program in a special tab in the app. With just a few clicks, they can check their account and current "game level", the discount options they can currently access, as well as an overview of active challenges and tasks, including how they are performing. There is also help on how to earn more points.

PPL has prepared a special campaign for the launch

PPL will support the launch of the loyalty programme with a nationwide campaign across online and offline channels and radio. From 28 October 2024, the company will also introduce the news to Czechs on social media, through PR, in collaboration with influencers and through promos on the displays of more than 1,000 PPL Parcelboxes.
