PPL CZ has been awarded Top Employer 2024 certification for the third time in a row. The certification is awarded based on an independent analysis of 20 areas in human resource and personnel management. PPL has long strived to create a friendly and modern working environment and keep its employees happy.

Educational opportunities, support for mental and physical well-being, talent development, and a pleasant and diverse working environment. These are some of the categories that the Top Employers Institute analyses before awarding a company Top Employer certification. And it is in these categories and all others that PPL has proven its worth. It ranks alongside companies such as France’s Airbus and the US-based PepsiCo. 

We make great efforts all year round to ensure that our employees feel good here, are adequately rewarded for their work and enjoy their jobs. In the past year, for example, we moved into new offices with modern equipment and opened two brand new workplaces. We are constantly striving to improve all equipment and processes supporting the safety and health of our employees,” said Kamila Kuchárová, HR Director at PPL CZ. 


 

PPL as a Fair Employer

As an employer, PPL deals with the specifics of the logistics and transport business. In addition to head office staff, the company also works with partner drivers and recruits a large number of seasonal workers each year.

The kind of company we are is determined above all by our fifteen hundred employees, 2,000 drivers, 4,500 PPL Parcelshop operators and many others. It’s necessary to take into account the changing demands and habits of different generations, but also to maintain togetherness and understanding. PPL Recertified as Great Place to Work 

Last year, the company again obtained Great Place to Work certification, which has been awarded for over 20 years by the organisation of the same name to selected international, national and smaller employers.

To a certain extent, we were even more pleased to defend the Great Place to Work certification than by getting Top Employer again. This is because it also depends on feedback from our employees, together with an analysis of the human resources activities and programmes implemented by our company. For us it is a sign that we are taking the right steps to meet our employees’ needs,” concluded Kuchárová.

At the end of 2023, PPL CZ also ranked in the top ten in a survey of the 100 best customer experiences in the Czech Republic, which is compiled annually by KPMG Czech Republic based on 50,000 client reviews.
